Hum Like The Bees

Hum like the bees. They know things we do not. They try to teach us through being. Become a unique cell in a multi-cellular organism, at every scale.

At some point in evolution there is a quantum leap and cells become self-organising, drawn to work closely with other individuals dancing to the same tune, driven by the same passions. Then these groups of cells inevitably self-organise again at some point, and begin communicating with each other, forging links, building bridges of collaboration. And this continues with more and more complexity until, at a certain point, a new ‘individual’ is created, made up of all the collaborating groups of individuals working together in harmony and synchrony.

An entrainment of sort occurs; suddenly every individual is pulling in the same direction, without coercion, simply motivated by the same desire, which is to serve the greater whole. No contrivance, no effort. This occurs naturally and easefully as an inherent function of healthy, organic evolution.

It has always been this way. The bees know and they try to show humanity that it can evolve in this way .

There is no need to forgo individuality; in our own mammalian brand of evolution, the collective effort very much depends on the capacity we have for truly individuating, for discovering our authentic truth (‘What truly excites me and lights me up?’) and living from this place.

So, the more individually HUMan we become, the more HUMble we become, and therefore more able to work together with ease, joy and good HUMour.

Hum like the bees. They know things we do not…
