Unfurl your body and mind.

Ashtanga yoga

Ashtanga yoga is a particular form of yoga that is energetic and dynamic. It uses a strong form of breathing that generates heat in the body, and each movement is linked to a breath, to create a flowing practice that is sometimes likened to a moving meditation. The class follows a set sequence and moves fairly swiftly through postures, holding each one for five breaths, which continues to build heat through the practice. This has a detoxifying effect on the body and enables you to move deeper into stretches. The end result is that your body feels amazing, your mind feels clear and, with regular practice, you won't believe how quickly your body will build strength, stamina, tone and flexibility, and how your body awareness and confidence will grow.

Vinyasa krama yoga

Vinyasa flow yoga adopts the flowing, dynamic style from ashtanga, where each breath is linked to a movement. However, rather than being restricted to the set ashtanga sequences, it allows for creativity, so that each class will be different. Some classes will explore different themes (e.g. hip-opening or back-bending) and some will be stronger or gentler than others. But each one will be challenging and will have its own beautiful flow.
